I just got back from renewing my insurance and I noticed it went up 7.7% in a single year for the exact same coverage. I'm not sure when this increase happened. I renew for an entire year at a time, so it could have happened earlier this year.

I understand that it's supposed to go up even more next year. At this rate how will anyone afford to drive in a few years?

By the way I have no accidents (43% discount) and I'm paying $1700 a year. :x
