I took a picture of the snow in my backyard on April 1st. There was 30-38cm of snow still on the ground where the sun has not reached and it is still like this. Next time the temperature goes above zero according to the EC forecast is on April 9th.

More snow for Calgary tomorrow but finally warming above freezing by Monday, just relentless cold and snow.

Yup. We had 8.5cm of new snow on Saturday-Sunday morning but today feels glorious with the sun shining and the temperature 6-8C in my part of town. This time yesterday it was -6C at the airport with light snow.

Edmonton has broken now their record for most consecutive days with a low temperature of 0°C or colder at 167 days (and counting).

Wow! yes it's still chilly there, with some more snow in the forecast for Calgary.

My serie (not sure of the word...) ended yesterday (with a min of 0.1C! :x ) with 159 days, from November 4th to April 12th...
-8.6C this morning...
