June is the wettest month of the year in most of BC, so get ready.

Not much rain has fallen here in Coquitlam yet. EC forecasting a washout of 15-25 mm but I don't see that at all in the radar imagery. So far very thin band of rain mainly to the south and east and some scattered light showers. Maybe the next wave coming later has a little more of a punch. Too bad because we need the rain before the Arizona-like weather returns.
Edit: EC has downgraded the forecast to only periods of rain and I expect a further downgrade to a few showers or chance of showers

We can't get rain when we need it, but it never stops when we want it too.

It's raining pretty good here but it will take a lot more to make any real impact. 5 mm so far.

The rain has been "decent" here today. I will go later to see how much I got. My maybe in-accurite says 5mm so far. We'll see what the rain gauge says.

I wonder if it's rainier the further east one goes - as I was just hiking on Sumas mountain and it was still raining quite a bit there. (Could also just be typical orographic rainfall)
