:lol: I think we have achieved every single kind of fire you can in a very short period of time - forest fire in horseshoe bay, grass fire in maple ridge, bog fire in richmond, barge fire in the fraser, residential fires all over the place, old folks home in Deep Cove. do we have a serial pyromaniac on our hands??

Hottest places in BC yesterday:

1) Warfield = 41.1 (tied all time record from 2015)
2) Ashcroft = 41.0
3) Kamloops = 40.8 (new all time record!)
4) Lytton (Climate) = 40.6
5) Kamloops (EC station) = 40.2
6) Castlegar = 40.0 (tied the all time record from 1967!)
7) Lytton = 39.7
8) Lillooet = 39.2
9) Princeton = 38.8
10) Osoyoos = 38.5
11) Pemberton = 38.2

Yes, I listed them on page 30. ;)

I did not pay attention for Kamloops! :o

For Castlegar, I think this is only an hourly max (maybe the Tx is higher).

The interior needs that rain ASAP. The fire situation is on the verge of getting out of hand again.

On another note. It’s a bit early, but, With current model guidance, a record hot July/August combo is certainly on the table for some locations.
