Re: January 2019 Current Conditions And Forecasts

Any opinions on the wind storm for tomorrow. Looks like Seattle is pushing the panic button. What are we in store for? Track dependant but it seems to me that the storm is lacking energy, but maybe I am way out of my league? Pressure is really low already... 990 mb and dropping. I wonder if that's ...

I'm so sorry for your loss, Stuffy. :(

I remember you talking about your dog a lot. I remember he was in some videos you posted as well.

Re: Daily And Monthly Precipitation Totals 2019

The last measurable rain here was at 12:30 am last night. It sprinkled a bit around 7 am, then was dry the rest of the day.

Re: January 2019 Current Conditions And Forecasts

My bad. Just saw they recorded 31.2C in June 2013. That's still nearly 6 years since they last cracked 30C. We're due! It seems random in some ways. I'm surprised they didn't hit 30C in 2007, considering Abbotsford was 37.9C in July of that year. YVR's readings in the summer are always really weird...

Re: January 2019 Current Conditions And Forecasts

As hot as the last few summers have been, we have still been lacking an extreme heatwave. Something which produces 30C+ out to the coast. YVR has now gone nearly 10 years without recording a 30C temp. My bad. Just saw they recorded 31.2C in June 2013. That's still nearly 6 years since they last cra...

We have records back to the 1870's for places like Victoria, New West, Ladner, Chilliwack and Langley.

Re: January 2019 Current Conditions And Forecasts

I think we are all being a little bit hypocritical and naive on here today but that happens the fact is we need places to live and we can build new towns in a sustainable way I don’t mean we need to build another whistler for the rich and famous we need more living space just don’t wanna stuff more...
