Its strange that the climate models still expect El Nino to develop and continue throughout the winter. It seems very disorganized with all the fluctuations. Certainly does not seem like a typical El Nino event shaping up. The North America pattern currently feels pretty el ninoish though. Which is...

0.3 here. Might be my first night to dip below freezing, if the clouds stay away. Looks like a lot of low clouds are covering the island north of Nanaimo

I’m still holding out some hope for the late November early December period. Roughly November 25-December 10 or so. If not then we may be waiting till early January. Hard to imagine the second half of December producing again, it’s been pretty consistent lately. You’d think we’d be due for a break. ...
