The air quality in East Abbotsford is absolutely horrible, including the obvious bad smoke smell. Are there any areas west towards Vancouver Island or Sunshine Coast that have better air quality? I'm wondering if there is some type of satellite photo that shows which direction the Smoky air is movi...

I hit 11.8C this morning. It's 20.4C now and hazy.

One nice thing about haze/smoke is that it doesn't inhibit cooling at night.

My updated stats on days with 30C+. It appears that 2018 now has the most days of 30C+ from 1996 to 2018: Days 30C+ in Abbotsford at YXX June-September 2018: 23 (so far) I only count 22. Might have missed one, but I checked twice. 29.9C doesn't count of course. Oh I counted 29.9C :lol: :oops: I was...

Looks like 21 days officially (actually 19, but I counted the days with missing data that I know hit 30C -- they really need to fix that).

I just realized we just hit 6 days in a row with 30C+. Until recently, that would have been record-tying, but now feels routine after our 9-day streak in July. :lol:
