Re: November 2018 Currrent Conditions & Forecasts

That’s the glass half full way of looking at it. In the flip side, what if we are seeing the atmospheric conditions locking into An El Niño pattern even though the SSTAs aren’t all that impressive. The atmosphere isn’t going to react to both the rises and falls of the Nino regions on a daily or wee...

But the effects a of a weak El Nino are typically less extreme then a moderate or strong, and we really h...

Re: November 2018 Currrent Conditions & Forecasts

Nino 3.4 is now in neutral range. nino34.png Its strange that the climate models still expect El Nino to develop and continue throughout the winter. It seems very disorganized with all the fluctuations. Certainly does not seem like a typical El Nino event shaping up. The North America pattern curre...

Re: November 2018 Currrent Conditions & Forecasts

Not a perfect setup and most defiantly the clown range, but its nice to see a GOA ridge and west coast trough showing up in the ensembles. To be honest, only minor adjustments to the modelled pattern here would be needed for a score.

Re: Hockey and Canucks discussions

Looser point :( :x :x :x :x :x You can't win em all. It's all part of the learning curve. Too bad Pettersson got tripped up on that puck to skate to stick move,he might have had an open net. True but when you have a 3-1 lead with 5 minutes left in the third, you shouldn't lose. It does happen to ev...
