Wow, I can't believe how hot it was up north yesterday! Terrace, Fort Nelson, Smithers, and even Stewart were hotter than Osoyoos! For some reason they don't list Stewart on the summaries, but here is the summary for the stations they show...

Not sure if it was lightning, but there's big fire starting near my mom's house. Even closer than last year's fire that caused her to be put on evacuation order.

Not bad. 33C in Fort Liard, NWT. Supposed to be 35C tomorrow with a low of 18C.

Currently 38.3C at Lillooet. Lytton has dropped 2 degrees since 4 when it was 39.1C.

Yes,for a local lake it's one of the nicer ones. But a warmer lake for swimming would be sasamat lake(white pine beach) just up the road from there,but as of a couple of years ago it had a lot of your brothers and sisters there(Canada geese), even had a sandwich and some other food item snatched aw...
